My parents gave my uncle a 1964 Hofner 173 II Super Solid for his 16th birthday and he gave it to me on my 21st. After a few year of use it needed a restore, but I couldn't find original machine heads anywhere. I found lots of Galaxy machine heads with the closed gears, but not the tulip head / open gear ones.
