Terms and Conditions
We specialize in vintage, rare, and hard-to-find guitar parts and accessories. As always, "WE BUY GUITAR PARTS."
Please email us with any questions you may have. You may order items securely 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from our website with any major credit card. The submission of an order by phone, email, or any other type of electronic transaction does not constitute our acceptance of the order. All parts are in good working order, unless otherwise noted, and sold AS-IS. All sales are final.
Orders may be placed online utilizing the shopping cart or the "Buy It Now" button. The submission of an order by phone, email, or any other type of electronic transaction does not constitute our acceptance of the order. After an order is placed, there is a small grace period to ensure the item is in stock and the payment method is valid. For this reason, Rare Guitar Parts reserves the right to refuse an order without prior notification. A staff member will contact you regarding payment and shipping details after your order is submitted and the confirmation period is complete.
Payment & Shipping Policy U.S.A. Only:
Our online pricing reflects a 3% discount for cash payments. Payments deemed as "cash" sales include certified check, cashiers check, personal check, "Buy Now" button, money order, or bank wire transfer. Regardless of your payment method, your order will not ship until payment has cleared. For faster processing times, we recommend using bank wire transfer.
Credit Card Option:
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. When paying with a credit card, please submit the correct billing address to help us prevent fraud. If the correct billing address is not submitted, your order will be refused. Submitting a payment using a credit card forfeits your privilege to the 3% cash discount. Credit card orders may be placed securely through our website, or customers may call in the information during business hours.
We accept PayPal payments when customers utilize the "Buy Now" button. When paying with PayPal, orders will be shipped to the confirmed PayPal address only to help prevent fraud. The 3% cash discount is honored for the PayPal option but the payment must be completed using the "Buy Now" button.
A minimum down payment of 20% is required to layaway/hold an item. The down payment is required in cash, and is refundable as store credit only. Balances must be paid in full within 30 days. Items on layaway that are canceled are subject to an 18% restocking fee. Consignment items do not qualify for layaway/hold.
Shipping and handling will be determined after an online order is submitted through our Shopping Cart. A flat rate is figured into any "Buy It Now" purchases for your convenience. Customers may also email for a shipping quote. Please supply us with the complete shipping address, so we may provide the most accurate rate. We typically ship using USPS. Faster service and insurance is available, including overnight, upon request for an additional fee.
Payment & Shipping Policy - Foreign Only:
All transactions require payment via bank wire transfer. This payment method eliminates the longer verification process so that orders can move quickly for your convenience.
A minimum down payment of 20% is required to layaway/hold an item. The down payment is refundable as store credit only. Balances must be paid in full within 30 days. Items on layaway that are canceled are subject to an 18% restocking fee.
Shipping and handling will be generated after an online order is submitted. Customers may also contact a staff member for a shipping quote. Please supply us with the complete shipping address, so we may provide the most accurate rate. Any additional fess including duties, VAT, or any other charges related to international shipping are the sole responsibility of the buyer and are non-refundable. Shipping forms will reflect the purchase price and will not be altered. We typically ship using USPS. Faster service and insurance is available, including overnight, upon request for an additional fee. We also recommend customers check into using a freight forwarder to possible reduce their shipping costs.
Due to temperature and humidity variations, we advise that shipments are allowed to acclimate to their new facility/home for at least 24 hours prior to opening the carton and examining the item.
All parts are in good working order, unless otherwise noted, and sold AS-IS. All sales are final.
All personal and company/business information is for our own use to better serve our customers. We do NOT release any customer information to third parties.
Anyone may subscribe to our mailing list by either purchasing an item or requesting subscription via email. Rare Guitar Parts will occasionally send e-mails to our customers to inform them of sales, special offers, or other relevant news.
